He manages site safety managers and coordinators who help promote job safety and meet required building codes and has revolutionized the construction safety tech industry leading with real-time data analytics, geo-located wearables, and virtual reality training. Additionally, Lorenzo directs several probation and parole projects for at-risk and recent release youths are known as Rising Up and Man Up as well as several veteran training, employment, and career programs. Professor Anna Tompa, MD is Director of the Department of Public Health at Semmelweis Unversity Medical Faculty since 2004. She received her Ph.D. from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, Hungary in 1981 and completed her residency in Pathology at Semmelweis University Medical School, also in Budapest, in 1996. Dr. Tompa was the main contributor to the Hungarian Chemical Safety Program, establishing the National Chemical Safety Department in 1998. She was named Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (D.Sc.) in 1999 for her work on the theoretical basis and practical use of human genotoxicological monitors in Hungary. Her primary research interests have focused on cancer prevention, using biomarkers to detect early signs of disease.

Prof. Victor Songmene received his Ph.D. from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Canada, in 2001. He has been with the Industrial Research and Development Institute (IRDI), Toronto, Canada, from 1995 till 2001. He is currently a full professor at the University of Quebec, Ecole de Technologie Superieure (ETS), Montreal, Canada. Since joining the university he has put his expertise on developing sustainable and safe machining practices for the industry. Past and current North American industries collaborating with him include A. Lacroix Granite, Sorel forges inc., MDA Corporation, Generals Motors, Wescast Industries, Rio Tinto Alcan, General's electrics and the Institut de Recherche Robert-Sauve en Sante et en Securite du Travail (IRSST), one of the leading OHS research centers in Canada. Professeur Songmenes expertise includes metal cutting, fine and nanoparticle control, optimization and environmentally conscious manufacturing. He is Director of the Product, Processes and Systems Engineering Laboratory (P2SEL). Hrvoje Lalic was born in Rijeka, Croatia in 1960. Medical school University Rijeka finished in 1983 and worked as a general practitioner in the Health Center Rijeka for ten years. Specialization in Occupational Medicine has done partially in Zagreb, Croatian capital city, in internationally famous School Andrija Stampar that is under WHO patronage and partially in Bologna, Italy at Policlinic S Orsola Malpighi, OM school for specialization. Scientific and educational career he built parallel with his practical work in OM surgery. He participated World Congresses, OM Congress in Moscow, plenary lecture, San Marino Italy, Dubrovnik and Hvar in Croatia etc. Invited lecturer in Trieste, Italy, 10 hours of lectures for medical students, doctors, and professors, an active participant in Erasmus Program, speaker, 10 hours of lectures in Umea, Sweden, 10 hours in Bologna, Italy, 2017 in University of Vienna, 10 hours of lectures. Frederic Dutheil is a professor of medicine, the medical doctor in occupational health, physiologist and researcher at the University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand (CHU), and a clinical fellow of the Australian Catholic University. Member of the « Laboratory of Metabolic Adaptations to Exercise in Clinical and Pathological conditions(AME2P-EA 3533) from 2006 to 2015, his work on biomarkers of stress led him to the creation and the head of the Physiological and Psycho-social Stress team at the UMR CNRS 6024. Dr. Greiner received an MSc in Psychology from the Technical University Berlin, her Masters in Public Health and her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of California Berkeley and her Dr. rer.med.habil from the University of Greifswald (Germany). Birgit Greiner is a Senior Lecturer at University College Cork, School of Epidemiology & Public Health and the Course Director of the MSc in Occupational Health course. I received my master degree and Ph.D. in the Department of Public Health Nursing from the University of Istanbul (Turkey). I have managed many different public health projects (occupational health, assessment, health promotion, prevention, treatment, epidemiological research) in variety village, schools, community health centers and at workplaces. My projects on these contents have been presented in different international congress. My current focus is on women and child workers health, occupational stress and management, health promotion and HIV/AIDS. I have been working about three years in the infection diseases clinical department and over three years in the different clinic at hospitals. Currently, I work as an assistant professor in Faculty of Health Sciences of Istanbul Bilgi University. Also, I give consultancy to textile workers and work voluntarily as a consultant about occupational health and safety, healthy life behaviors, risk assessment and hygiene in elementary, high schools and vocational training schools.

Professor Meel has joined the University of Transkei in 1996. His special interest is in Occupational Health and thus he was motivated to start an Occupational Health Clinic for ex-mineworkers with the minimum of resources in May 1997. Since then he has examined over 3,000 ex-mineworkers. In 2002 Prof. Meel received an award of excellence for poverty alleviation and community services by the Impumelelo Award Trust, Cape Town. He was a finalist for the Science, Engineering and Technology Award, Pretoria in 2003. He is the recipient of the Vice Chancellors Award for excellence in research in 2002 and 2003. He has also a recipient of a Humanitarian Recognition Award 2005 from USA Chest Foundation and Health Professions Council (HPCSA), South Africa in 2007 for his work in the community service of ex-mineworkers. He has published about 100 research articles. He is married to Veena and has four children, Anita, Ruchika, Piyush, and Swati. All are medically qualified doctors.
